Responding to Occupy Wall Street
From Lenore's journey to the compassionate spirits, 11-14-2011
Anger is a signifier that something is wrong and needs to change. The movement needs to honor the anger of participants, and understand how to use it. If anger is hurled outward, it ricochets back and forth and creates destruction. If its energy is used skillfully, however, it can be channeled into loving determination to heal our world.
Focus on creating, not destroying. If you build something new, what no longer serves will fall away.
One of the greatest lies you have been told is that the material world is the ultimate reality. This has led to tremendous disempowerment of the people, to ignorance of the power that you DO have. For example, you are taught that sticks and stone may break your bones, but words will never harm you. In fact, words, and even thoughts and feelings, have powerful energy that you can learn to wield to heal our world.
You must realize that ALL are part of the whole, even the 1%. They, too, are suffering from what they perpetrate. We are part of a sacred, unfolding drama of the Earth. All players must be honored. In indigenous cultures, the opponent is honored and revered. Recovering this practice is important. To take down an opponent is a sacred act, and must be executed in a solemn, conscious, and sacred way. Utilize practices that do not vilify anyone.
Just as fear feeds on fear, love feeds on love - don't doubt that any heart can be melted. But that happens through LOVE.
Find all the parts in yourselves, and harmonize within; do not castigate parts you do not like, but bring them into harmony. For we live in a holographic universe, wherein the whole resides also in each of the parts. Therefore, the 1% consciousness resides in each of us. That's why deep spiritual work of a personal nature never is solely personal, so long as you are not engaging in spiritual bypassing.** This is one place you can work, through bringing about balance and harmony in yourselves. This is crucial whether you work in the exterior world, as well, or not. Can you make peace with personal enemies? Can you find creative, liberatory ways to be in relationship with them?
See this movement as part of perfectly-unfolding creation - the Mystery - and seek how you can serve the highest good in this unfolding. Consider: What sacrifices do you need to make in service to the highest good?
Be assured that the Ancestors are walking amongst you, and the more you call upon them, the more they'll be present for you, and the more they can help.
You are letting go of a control culture, and birthing a harmonizing culture - it is challenging and exciting. You are courageous to be here at this time. Please remember that EVERYONE has a role to play. Play yours well, and honor the others, including your opponents, and honor mistakes: all are part of learning to come into Oneness and turn this corner.
The old structure can come down more peacefully and completely if you build something strong to take its place. Until you are focused on building the new, you are in a weak position. This is the beauty and strength of Occupy Wall Street: not struggling with the powers that be to change, or to meet particular demands, but creating something new. Don't be afraid to follow this trajectory to its logical conclusion. Take what is yours, and remember that you are a COLLECTIVE. One of the biggest problems in the U.S. is individualism, and although it is most rampant among middle class whites and males, by now it has infected the whole population.
This is not a fight to "restore" some earlier version of the U.S. or the economic system - it is about birthing something new. The old only ever served a privileged minority, but only now are more middle-class people seeing this. The jig is up; the game of exploitation under the guise of democracy or freedom is over.
A new global consciousness is rising. Consider that all that has happened is part of this unfolding, including the exploitations at home and abroad, and global climate change. You have the power to make humanity a part of this global consciousness, rather than a failed experiment.
Have dignity. Honor your opponents. Honor yourselves. Honor the fight at hand. Carry it out from a centered place of love for all beings, even your opponents - remember that they are suffering themselves from the very system they perpetuate.
Wreak as little destruction as possible, for everyone and all beings. Remember that what you are doing is on behalf of all life, it affects all life. Honor your Ancestors, those who walked before and gave you the precious gift of life. Honor your descendents, leaving the world better than you found it, and remember you are part of a great chain of life. Not everyone will understand this.
Change can happen quietly and radically when all lines up - the people, the Ancestors, other life forms, heart, vision, will, clear intention, common values. This change does not require a majority.
**Spiritual bypassing: From Charles Whitfield, writing on the recovery process: "There often is a temptation to jump from the pain and confusion of our emptiness and frustration, directly into peace and serenity (we can call this a kind of pseudo-serenity)... But when we do that, we abandon our True Self... and thereby all of our power, creativity, and rich experience..." MORE

Message to President Obama
From Lenore's journey to the compassionate spirits, 11-14-2011
You have a great, historic opportunity, if you can step out of your box. You can choose a different archetype - the Clown, or the Fool, or the Lover - and move from that.
Give up the approval of anyone. Find your own authentic, heart-centered voice, and speak it, at all risk, to make your greatest contribution. Casting crumbs to appease the masses will not do.
Perhaps you want to expose the truth of Washington. The cost may be your office - or even your life. But, if you operate as Fool or Lover, you may be able to avoid loss of life, or even office - then, the people will rise up and protect you, if you have the courage and imagination to STAND UP.
You know what is right. Just remember, and do it. It would be good if you could really unplug for a few weeks, and go inside, but that is hard for a President to do. Free yourself of the chains that still hold you!!
